Prefer compatible origins plus independent markers when both plasmids must persist across overnight growth. Prefer a stacked-load pair only when the experiment is short and someone will re-score both circles. Reject a same-group pair even if the maps came from two vendors. Compatibility is a replication statement. It is not a promise that the cell likes both cargos.
Show Both Origins After the Failure Modes Are Named
